simpleWebGraph4
This applet generates either a line graph or bar chart. The data is read
from the applet tag or from a text file. Coordinate values can be
chronological, integer or floating point numbers. The tick labels can be
date strings, integers, floating point numbers or arbitrary strings.

Usage:
-
The example below illustrates plotting chronological data where the x-axis
coordinates are dates and y-axis coordinates are integers. The applet
reads data from the applet tag. The applet
also has an option to plot chronological data in yearly increments as shown
in this example. Date coordinates along
y-axis is not supported. More info about the applet params
is available here.
-
Both x-axis and y-axis data can be integers as is illustrated in
this example2.
-
The applet also enables plotting floating point data as shown in example3.
- Supply the data either in an external text file and specify
the file name in the applet param TXTFILE or enter the whole data
in the applet param SWGRAPHDATA.
- The chronological data can also be plotted on a daily basis
or on a quarterly basis. Here are some examples, example4 and
example5
- The applet can also generate bar charts as shown in example6.
- Here is an example7 of the applet when the
coordinate values are negative.
- Colors for the curves can be
specified through the param CURVECOLORS. Fonts for the plot can be specified
through the params FONT1 and FONT2.

This can display upto 3 curves, and 10 divisions along x and y axes,
and 10 data points for a given curve. The registered
version can display upto 9 curves per graph and has no limits to the
number divisions along the axes and data points for a given curve.
